ASPEN’s Self-Assessment Program consists of 10 modules on various topic areas in nutrition support.  Each module has 40 – 75 questions including commentary and references to aid with learning the material in a pre-assessment and a scored post-assessment testing environment.

Pre-assessment: an area where you can assess your current knowledge

  • After answering each question, you will be able to review the commentary/explanation of the question content and view the references
  • This  must be completed and submitted before progressing to the graded post-assessment
  • If you need more time to study and review, simply reset the pre-assessment to continue practicing

Post-assessment: a graded/scored area of the self-assessment program where you can test your knowledge

  • A passing score of 60% must be attained on the post-assessment to be eligible to claim CE credit for the module
  • Once you have completed and submitted the post-assessment you will be asked to complete an evaluation prior to claiming CE credit.
  • After completing, submitting and claiming CE credit for the post-assessment, you can reset the assessment for continued study and practice.  This reset does not change the initial post-assessment submission, the grade earned, or credit claimed, it is simply for practice and mastering of the content.
